ABOUT US

602 Squadron supports a variety of historical impressions associated with the RAF and Commonwealth Air Forces  (including 417 Squadron of the Royal Canadian Air Force) of The Second World War period. The primary focus is a mid-war fighter squadron circa 1942-44 incorporating original and quality reproduction items of clothing and equipment so that our displays are as authentic as possible.

Our members attend air shows and other historically-themed events in original or highly accurate reproduction uniforms and gear, providing the public the opportunity to see, in real-life, how these men and woman appeared. The presence of living historians also enhances the period 'feel' of any show that has vintage aircraft in attendance.

Our standards of authenticity and proper deportment are necessary.  We strive to honour the men and women who sacrificed so much for all generations to come.
